Brian Palomo is a higher education professional currently working at the University of Arizona with students on academic probation, primarily low-income, first-gen students of color. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Development from George Mason University. Currently he is a Doctoral Student in Higher Education at the University of Arizona. Beyond that, Brian is a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths Coach. Brian’s passions include equitable access to education, retention and transition of students from marginalized communities, and dismantling white supremacy in higher education. Outside of academia, Brian loves to cook, play ultimate frisbee, out in nature, or with his brothers of Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc.
